Safe near infrared light for fast polymers surface sterilization using organic heaters

چکیده
NIR dyes (called heaters) are here in situ embedded the polymeric materials so that they could produce a strong photothermal effect upon light. The eradication of Escherichia coli was demonstrated after only 2 min safe irradiation.
